The Old Way
Before Meerkat Investment, you could buy or sell a home on your own and save some cash, but it was one daunting task. You could hire an agent, but that means giving your agent a whopping 6% in commissions and end up doing most of the work anyway.
Apart from that, there were painfully expensive repairs, exhaustive showings, listing, open houses, and still at least a month’s time to close the deal.
Why Isn’t There A Better Way?
That’s what we wondered, seeing family and friends struggle with the same traditional solutions. With so much access to resources and information, why isn’t it easier to buy or sell a home? There has to be a better way.
